"Family Camp" is Nevada's premiere Resident Equestrian Camp for families, owned and operated by world-champion horse trainer Tara Clark in cool Pioche, NV at the world famous Amazon Ranch.
This Thursday - Sunday (minimum 4 people) signature annual camp program is held the second week of August each summer in conjunction with the Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo.
Family Camp is a unique resident camp experience for riders which focuses on horsemanship throughout history.
Campers ride 2-4 hours a day on our professionally trained schoolmaster horses under strict supervision. Meals are prepared fresh in our outdoor kitchen with many of the ingredients straight from our gardens!

With amazing wilderness trails, a cross-country jump course, polo & dressage and our jousting line for
medieval games, in addition to our main arena & round pen, there is something for everyone at all levels!
Other activities include hiking, fishing, outdoor camping in native american tipis (teepees) and period style tents, swimming in fresh water springs, enjoying dutch-oven meals, museum trips, history lessons, horse shows, mustang watching, hay rides, visiting ancient petroglyphs, horse-painting and more!
Camp in our Tipis, or bring your own tent. RV hookup for power & water is available at no additional charge.
Family Camp requires a minimum of 4 people - all ages welcome
